“Advancing the Future” is the new program financed by BPRM that through livelihoods, protection and health aims to meet the needs of displaced persons, Venezuelans, Colombian returnees and host communities in Antioquia and Bolivar.
In alliance with the Juanfe Foundation, Caribe Afirmativo, and Opción Legal works hand in hand with the VenEsperanza program, to provide comprehensive care to those who need it most.
In the first component, more than 3,800 people have access to legal and decent employment opportunities through guidance on employability, entrepreneurship, social security and legal issues, hoping that they can facilitate their stay in Colombia and access the services to which they are entitled.
In a second component, it provides psychosocial support to 700 boys, girls and youth, improves access to critical services for their protection and helps them face adversity by defending and demanding compliance with their fundamental rights.
Finally, through different methodologies, we increased access to sexual and reproductive health, basic health, and prevention and hygiene promotion services for more than 7,700 people, hand in hand with our local allies.
