Attention Humanitarian

Mercy Corps is an active member of a group of different agencies that provide direct humanitarian assistance, thus working in a coordinated manner to deliver aid to the families most affected by the crisis, including host communities.

It is a partnership between the International Rescue Committee, Save the Children, World Vision and Mercy Corps to provide emergency assistance to 89,697 people in need including in particular Venezuelan migrants and Colombian returnees. We work in 8 departments in Colombia: Antioquia, Arauca, Atlántico, La Guajira, Cesar, Norte de Santander, Valle de Cauca and Bogotá D.C.

This humanitarian assistance provides cash transfers to the most vulnerable people to meet their basic needs for water and sanitation, food, non-food items, medicine or shelter.

Cash transfers are delivered on a priority basis according to a scale of most vulnerable criteria, and are made once a month for six months.
