Conflict management for natural resources
This program is executed through our local partner Cocomacia and aimed to provide advice and technical support to the greater community councils and local black communities in the middle and lower Atrato, Chocó-Darien and Urabá Antioquia in order to resolve conflicts over natural resources in the territories of communities of African descent.
Were transferred experiences and learnings in double track at regional and local level between communities, Afro-descendant and peasant. Community conflict mediation practices were documented by wood, mangrove, mining and inappropriate land use, also systematized the conflict resolution methodology.
