Hugo Gómez, our director of lands, participated as a co-investigator in the project ' Land Use Planning Challenges in the Informal City: The Case of Quibdó's City Centre ", developed by the school of Geosciences, University of Edinburgh. The project focuses on the investigation of suggestions for the improvement of the governance and regulation of the urban space of Quibdó, Chocó. Academic inputs resulting will serve for the formulation of policies and the regional planning of urban development.
The displacement, the growing footprint of the carbon and the consumption of energy by displacement due to changes in the use of the land are themes that are must include in the Plan of ordering Territorial (POT). All the members of the society is included in the development of solutions practices to them problems identified locally related with mobility, gentrification, space public, impacts environmental and heritage cultural.
